I then progressed through the Club and was Swim Captain in the 1990s! I then returned to the Club 10 years ago to coach the competition section. However, my real passion for swimming is now in open water competition. This started 8 years ago to raise money for charity and I now have the bug. Hopefully health permitting I will try to do Windermere end to end in 2017. Back at RSC I started the Adult Masters section in January 2016 and this is going from strength to strength. But there is nothing quite like a Friday night Competition coaching session with a bunch of swimmers who have been caged all week at school! <\/p>\n
After swimming and coaching it doesn\u2019t leave much time for my other hobbies of running, hockey, photography and looking after my hound.
